What can we do for a encore after having the best ratings ever? Come crashing down with less than 3,000 views this month. Reason is probably that I'm not clicking on the bonus Spam Stat sites that gave some of the odder known blogs their high boostings. I suppose this is the more honest way of seeing who actually reads these blogs but the answer is lesser than what the stats say. In some of the archive blogs, I've noticed that some pictures that were posted up have now disappeared. I'm guessing that the sites that had those pictures of references were deleted. It's a pain in the ass to try to find them all and replace them with alternative pictures such as the Tony Sheridan picture from Quibble And Bits but in the end, even I get tired of constantly updating for a blog that one or two people will ever see. This is not a money making venture by any means, basically a snapsnot of what was going on at that time. One particular blog had all but a couple pictures disappear on me, so I retitled it and left it as is. I'm sure as time goes by, we'll see some pictures disappear once and for all, to which I'll leave them as is, blanks between paragraphs.
The 60s are 5 decades or lifeyears behind us and it's impossible to ever revisit those wild and crazy times. That hippie chick you lusted after is now in her 70s if she isn't dead yet. Even myself, the years have taken a toll on me and what looked good on me back in the 80s is now baggy pants and no shape at the bottom but we got a nice 12 pack belly. By now you have heard that Karen Black has passed away, she was 74 and appeared on TV shows like Mannix and Adam 12 but also into movies as well. I loved her in Five Easy Pieces and Easy Rider.
About ten years ago, KCDX became a interesting off the wall radio station which played classic rock music that hardly got any airplay anymore and I actually printed off a copy of the 2003 New Times article about that little station based out of Florence Arizona but had a transmitter on top of a mountain somewhere outside of Globe. https://www.kcdx.com/
It hasn't been a good year for anti Obama pro Ryan man Sean Hannity, who might be in the process of losing his TV show on FOX news behind Bill O'Reilly for the more sexier but also toxic Megyn Kelly. On the other hand, Ryan Adams, former Whiskeytown singer and solo artist who may have made more albums in the 00s than anybody else I know has kept a low profile since leaving Lost Highway/Universal. However Hannity took great exception to Ryan tweeting up "Your entire soul is controlled by fear and by hate. Evolve little chicken man. See reality." Hannity baited him upon coming to his Propaganda show, Ryan declined by saying I don't deal with terrorists. Which Son of Rush popped a tampton all over creation on his show calling Adams a nobody and bla bla bla. In other words Hannity just gave Adams some publicity and a bit of record sales on the chart. Adams can be very difficult to be around it, especially during the late 90s and early 00's but has been somewhat grounded once he married Mandy Moore but Adams has had critics. Perhaps if Hannity would have kept cool and reply to a tweet about requesting Summer Of 69, he may have rattled Ryan's cage. But in the end, looked more like the immature one on his show when he devoted a segment on Adams baiting him. In the meantime, Sodahead's website of comments is pretty pro Hannity. Which makes me wonder if half the comments were by Fox Bots. If nothing else, when Hannity can always find a new home on FOX business news and continue his opinions there.
